Hello, my name is Melissa and I have years of experience in relational psychology. Through the years, I have used my studies in psychology to run my own retail businesses, explore real estate investing, become a stage manager, and volunteer as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) successfully.
I enjoy learning new things, reading, skiing, traveling, and working out. I also study current affairs and how it relates to the changes in the economic state of our country today, and why the middle class and upper middle class population is becoming more and more obsolete.
I moved to California after college in the mid 90's. At the time, California was a small business friendly state, and I opened a few retail boutiques in the beach cities. It was a great career while I was having children because it gave me the flexibility to be with them during their infant to pre-teen years. I enjoyed meeting people from all over the world and hearing their stories. After 13 years I sold the businesses to pursue other venues.
I became interested in real estate investment and found it challenging to find inexpensive properties I could then turn around for a profit. While I was studying everything I could about real estate, I was volunteering in my children's classrooms, the PTA, and working as a stage manager for a private middle school in the area in which I live.
I have a passion to help individuals who come from dysfunctional families. I am a survivor of one myself, and I hope that through my stories I can help other individuals overcome their dysfunction in order to live a productive, happy life.
Thank you for letting me share my story.
